A collection of various ethnic Soviet / Ussr / Russian folk music. The music comes from different origins: classical theatre themes, or folk music from different villages and regions played mostly by non professional musicians, some songs are known as War time sing alongs, some songs are known as Gypsy Russian music. Some songs are religious (Jewish or Christian). The most common Russian folk instruments are: Violin, Accordion, Balalaika (3 string Mandolin / Bazooki) , Treshchotka (oak plates) , Domra (Mandolin) , Gusli (A Multi-string plucked instrument) , Buben (Tambourine) , Lozhki (Spoons) and Zhaleika (Wind instrument)
